hand-colored engraving with etching and aquatint, on J Whatman dated 1834, with margins, minor surface soiling, reverse foxing in the bird, two short creases and the hand-coloring slightly modulated in the blue to the right of the bird, pale yellow staining in the blue to the left of the bird, the palest mat and time staining, occasional foxing in the margins), a 1½-in. repaired tear in the upper center margin edge, a ½-in. repaired tear at the lower center margin edge, a 4-in. diagonal crease in the lower left corner, scattered foxing on the reverse, otherwise in good condition, framed
