Vase form, on stepped circular foot with beaded, gadrooned and diaper borders, the spout cast with palmette, the leaf-capped scroll handle with leaf and berry upper join, the shoulder with stiff leaf and palmette borders, the hinged cover with acanthus calyx and acorn finial, the body engraved with monogram MEB, marked twice under base
