Charles "Shang" Wheeler (1872-1949), Stratford, Connecticut, First to Second Quarters 20th Century
The sleeping duck inscribed on the underside: Made and Used by "Shang" Wheeler, 1935. Constructed with cork body and pine head and tail insert.
Original paint shows moderate wear; some minor denting and roughness to the body; light hit by shot; overall very good structurally.
5¾ in. high, 16½ in. long
