The top with a rosette and strap-work carved edge and a gadrooned and foliate frieze, on scrolled and foliate standard end supports carved with winged masks and centred by a rampant lion, the carved stretcher centred by eagles' heads flanking a cabochon centred cartouche and with lion paw feet
