An attribution to Enea Talpino di Salmeggia (Salmezza 1558-1626 Bergamo) has been suggested, with reference to a drawing in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, formerly attributed to Girolamo del Pacchia (K.T. Parker, Catalogue of the Collection of Drawings in the Ashmolean Museum, II, Oxford, 1956, no. 423; and H.
