THE CREAM-JUG WITH MARK OF CARL PALM, ST. PETERSBURG, 1834; THE SUGAR-BOWL WITH MARK OF V.T. SOKOLOV, MOSCOW, 1825
The cream-jug partly fluted with a band of fruit and foliage, with scroll handle; the sugar-bowl, oval, partly fluted with two scroll handles, the cover with a gadrooned finial, each engraved with Greek cypher below Greek Royal crown, each marked on base
the sugar-bowl 7 in. (18 cm.) wide
gross weight 17 oz. (530 gr.)
The cyphers are those of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913). (2)
