MARK OF MICHELSEN, COPENHAGEN, 1894, 1895 AND 1900
Oval, partly fluted and with beaded borders, comprising; two teapots, each with ivory insulated scroll handle, hinged cover with cone finial, milk-jug and two-handled sugar-bowl, each engraved with Greek cypher below Greek Royal crown, each engraved on base
the larger teapot 8¾ in. (22 cm.) long
gross weight 48 oz. (1,500 gr.)
The cypher is that of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913). (4)
