A DANISH SILVER TEAPOT AND SUGAR-BOWL
MARK OF MICHELSEN, COPENHAGEN, 1900
Each oval, partly fluted with stiff-leaf borders, the teapot with ivory insulated scroll handle, hinged domed cover with fluted finial, each engraved with Greek cypher below Greek Royal crown, marked underneath
the teapot 9½ in. (24 cm. ) wide
gross weight 26 oz. (820 gr.)
The cypher is that of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913). (2)
