A CONTINENTAL SILVER-PLATED LIBRARY LAMP
PROBABLY EARLY 20TH CENTURY, MARKS INDISTINCT
On circular base, the baluster shaft rising to a knop, the two-light lamp similarly shaped, surmounted by a ring suspending chains fitted with a pair of snuffers, a pair of tongs and a two-pronged scraper, the upper shaft terminating in a scroll handle, fitted with rectangular screen, chased and engraved with foliage on a matted ground, finial with indistinct marks
