Shaped oval, the sauceboat with wavy reeded rim, on spreading fluted foot, the detachable stand with guilloche border, engraved twice with Greek cypher below Greek Royal crown, marked on foot-rim and stand

The initials are those of H.M. King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913)
