A PAIR OF FRENCH SILVER-PLATED SOUP-TUREENS AND COVERS
MARK OF CHRISTOFLE, PARIS, CIRCA 1900
Each oval with moulded rims, on shaped oval foot with two ribbon-tied leaf-scroll handles, the domed covers with detachable fruit and foliage finial, the body and cover engraved with Greek cypher below Greek Royal crown, marked on rim of foot
Each 17½ in. (44 cm.) wide
The cypher is that of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913). (2)
