A FRENCH SILVER-PLATED TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE
BY CHRISTOFLE, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Each pear-shaped with reeded scroll handles, comprising;
a teapot, a coffee-pot, two hot water-jugs, three two-handled sugar-bowls, two with covers, a milk-jug and a cream jug, each engraved with Greek cypher below Greek Royal crown
the hot water-jugs 7 in. (18 cm.)
The cypher is that of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913). (9)
