The cartouche shaped padded back, arms and drop-in seat, covered in gold foliate silk damask, centred by rockwork and carved with scrolling foliage, with conforming serpentine arms and serpentine seat rail centred by a rockwork cartouche carved with flowers, on cabriole legs and inscrolled laurel-wrapped feet, probably previously decorated
