Each frame containing eight variously sized polychrome-decorated oval miniatures depicting Indian palaces, monuments and ruins including the Taj Mahal, the Qutb Minar and other buildings, within gilt-metal moulded borders against a black velvet background and surrounded by an ebonised moulded frame
