According to an engraving in the Iconografische Atlas Gemeente Utrecht. Mr. Frederik van de Poll (1780 - 1855) had the following career: 1802-1812 Solicitor's firm in Amsterdam, 1813-1828 Government Tax and Tweede Kamer, 1828-1836 Burgomaster of Amsterdam (dismissed after tax revolt), 1836-1838 Member of County Aldermen (Gedeputeerde Staten) of Noord Holland, 1838-1840 Tweede Kamer (Reclamation Haarlemmermeer), 1840-1850 Queen's Commissioner of the province Utrecht (dismissed through Thorbecke)
The engraving also mentions a Stobwasser tobacco box painted between 1828 and 1836
