Lot Essay

Gould was a landscape and flower painter. He is recorded as working in Ambleside in 1885 and then in and around Belfast between 1903 and 1928. Gould exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy and at the Royal Academy in 1903, Lilac and Hawthorn, no. 936.
