LOUIS LATOUR Maison Louis Latour is one of the most widely respected and renowned négociant-éléveurs in Burgundy. The estate consists of 50 hectares and among these, 26 hectares are Grand Cru. Anthony Hanson wrote in his Burgundy book; "At this firm the faithful customer is more important than the Burgundian producer - a rare attitude in the Côte d'Or" and he goes on to state that he finds their white wines "often absolutely splendid" and concerning the reds "without doubt these wines have given pleasure on hundreds of thousands of occasions".
