The bell top case with brass handle and pine apple finials, gilt-brass front door frets and pierced side frets above glazed panels, the brass dial with foliate scroll spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre with date aperture and signed on a recessed silvered sector Bryant & Son/London, pierced and blued steel hands, the eight day movement with five pillars, twin wire fusees with verge escapement, strike and trip repeat on bell, the back plate engraved with foliate scrolls
