A Chinese carved three-colour peach-shaped lacquer box and cover, 19th century
the top carved with two peaches and blossoms borne on a gnarled branch, all between two bats and reserved on a leiwen ground, the sides with decorated with a wan ground; and a carved leaf-shaped lacquer box and cover, the top carved with a seated man under a tree growing from the mountainside, reserved on diaper ground, the sides carved with a wan ground, 19th century -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) wide. (2)
