A Chinese cloisonne enamelled yuhuchunping vase, Late Ming Period
the bulbous body decorated in coloured enamels with a stylised dragon, fierce with open mouth and long split scrolling tail, surrounded by lotus flowerheads with leafy foliage, rising to a slender neck separated by a gilt metal rib, the rim with a border of ruyi-head motifs, the flared interior rim with small scrolling flowerheads, all on a turquoise cloud scroll ground - 12¾in. (32.4cm.) high.
