A Chinese bronze archaistic style wine vessel and cover (Hu), 17th/18th Century
with a linked chain swing handle, decorated in relief with a knotted rope motif around the centre of the body, below a border of lappets each with taotie mask decoration, the cover with a band of stylised twin confronting dragons designs - 12¼in. (31.2cm) high.
