A Japanese ivory netsuke of a Kyoto style ox, late 18th/early 18th Century
the tethered beast carved in a reclining posture, horn inlay eyes, with signature Tomotada in a rectangular reserve to base; two further ivory netsuke, 19th Century, the first of a smiling Fukurukuju, kneeling on the floor, a small boy balanced in his back, with signature Niroshige; and a netsuke of Ebisu bent over a large fish - 2¼in. (5.8cm.) wide max. (3)
