Four Japanese ivory okimono, 19th/20th Century
the first depicting an official, being transported in a cauldron formed carriage with burning wheels by mischevious oni; a reclining male figure holding a fan; a figure wearing a celestial scarf, leaning over a writing desk his head in his hands; and a woven basket of fruit with detatchable cover; a wooden netsuke of a mokugyo bell; and a black and gilt lacquer circular box and cover, opening to reveal a six armed Buddhistic deity carved in relief - 1 7/8in. (4.8cm) high max. (6)
