A bamboo sutra case with Chinese textile and Japanese copper mounts, 18th 19th century
of cylindrical form, the exterior covered with a fabric decorated with the za bao ('Miscellaneous Treasures'), with copper mounts and covers incised with prunus blossom, bamboo and demi-flowerheads, with a Japanese paper lined interior, later metal stand and cord -- 13¼in. (33.6cm.) long.
