A Japanese hardwood inro stand, 19th century
the rectangular stand pierced at the middle section with a waisted sake bottle shaped frame flanked by double gourd and rectangular shaped panels, all framed by pierced foliage, between a framed section above applied with metal butterflies and a section below pierced with three pairs of double gourds, with two supports and floral incised metal mounts -- 30 7/8in. (78.4cm.) wide.
