A LARGE PAIR OF JAPANESE BRONZE VASES, LATE 19TH CENTURY
each of baluster form with a tall tiered foot and everted rim, cast in high relief with a band of ruyi lappets below dragons around the foot and birds perched amongst fruiting and flowering branches in two large foliate cartouches on the main body and two smaller ones on the neck of each vase also with two large mythical beast head handles to the sides -- 21in (53.3cm) high (2)
