the panels decorated in gilt and silver with a boatman flanked by huts, pagodas and a shrine entrance, with Mount Fuji in the distance, all above a floral ground, the reverse engraved with a hen and chicks, birds, dragonflies, wisteria and foliate branches, gilt sei mark below a sun burst -- each panel 6 3/16in. (15.7cm.) high x 2¾in. (7cm.) wide.
