A Burmese bronze figure of Shakyamuni, 16th/17th Century
modelled seated in dhyanasana his right hand in bhumisparsa, the 'earth touching gesture', wearing a simple sangati robe over his left shoulder with typical elongated ears, seated on a double tiered shaped base - 7 3/8in. (18.7cm.) high.
