A Burmese Shan style gilt and lacquered bronze figure of Sakyamuni, 18th century
seated in dhyanasana on a raised double lotus throne, the right hand in bhumisparsa mudra and the left in dhyana mudra, the face with eyes downcast, surmounted by a high foliate crown flanked by large ajour flanges, three tubular sections applied to the base -- 12 5/16in. (31.2cm.) high.
