Six Thai gilt lacquered bronze figures of Buddha, 19th century
five seated in dhyanasana on a three-tiered pedestal, wearing winged robes impressed with floral and beaded patterns, the hair arranged in coiled curls, some with a pointed usnisa above the face with a serene expression and flanked by winged ornaments above the pendulous earlobes, two with the hands in bhumisparsa mudra, three in dhyana mudra and one seated in pralambadasana on a rock with both hands resting on his laps -- maximum 7 15/16in. (20.2cm.) high; and two Thai gilt-lacquered figure heads, probably 17th century, wood stands -- maximum 2¼in. (5.8cm.) high. (8)
