A Canton famille rose vase and two bowls, 19th century
the vase with four applied chilong dragons to the shoulders, below the waisted neck with a pair handles modeled as Buddhistic lions and cubs playing with a brocade ball, decorated with variously shaped panels enclosing figures engaged in leisurely pursuits, reserved on a foliate and floral ground with precious objects, lamp mounts, the porcelain 15 13/16in. (40.1cm. high); and two Canton bowls, similarly decorated with panels enclosing figures on verandas alternating with floral and fruiting sprays, birds and butterflies -- the larger 11 15/16in. (30.3cm.) diam. (3)
