of slender ovoid form rising to the cylindrical neck with a raised bow-string band below the flared galleried rim, the exterior with panels variously decorated with figures engaged in leisurely pursuits and pheasants and birds amidst flowering and fruiting sprays, all reserved on a gilt foliate floral and fruiting ground with butterflies and bats, ormulu mounted wood stand -- 23¾in. (60.3cm.) high.
