A Chinese famille rose roleau vase, 19th century
the ovoid body decorated with a female immortal flanked by boys in a fenced garden, between a foliate floral band on the high shoulders and lotus petal panels above the slightly spreading foot, the cylindrical neck with cranes in flight amidst cloud scrolls, below the galleried rim with a key-fret border -- 13 7/8in. (35.2cm.) high.
