A Chinese famille rose saucer-dish, Daoguang seal mark and probaly of the period
of quatrefoil shape, decorated with a frog seated on rockwork amidst chrysanthemum blossoms, lotus leaves and bamboo branches, looking up at a cricket perched on a bamboo below butterflies, the undersides with iron-red bats, iron-red Daoguang seal mark -- 7 1/8in. (18.1cm.) diam.
