A Chinese doucai 'Three Friends' teabowl and cover, Qianlong mark and possibly of the period
with rounded sides, the sides decorated in underglaze blue and enamels with the 'Three Friends of Winter' with the bamboo leaves picked out in a rice grain pattern, the well with a foliate gourd spray, the domed cover similarly decorated, underglaze blue six-character Qianlong sealmarks -- 4 9/16in. (11.6cm.) diam.; and a teabowl and cover, the exterior decorated in iron-red with an inscription and ruyi-head and lotus petal panel borders, iron-red six-character Qianlong sealmarks, 20th century -- 4 3/16in.
