with a foliate rim, short foot ring and gently rising sides, painted and gilt to the interior and exterior, the well with a large central roundel decorated with a landscape scene and surrounded by twenty fluted panels of flowers and geometric patterns, the exterior with scrolling foliage and a decorative band to the footring, signed Tozan -- 7 1/8in. (18cm.) diam.
