Lot Essay

All proceeds from lot 63 will benefit the charity Project Why in association with Enfances Indiennes, a French-Indian organisation which was founded in 2003 to help underprivileged children. Their administration allows over 90 of all donations to have a direct impact on the project.
Project Why is determined to support disadvantaged children in New Delhi to finish school as on overage only 32 of first grade pupils continue to grade 10. Project Why works with teachers, many of whom come from slums themselves, who are committed to their students. The project has also established strong ties with the community and is today engaged in a variety of programmes.
