Edo period (18th century), signed Ise (no) kami Fujiwara Kiyokata and with chrysanthemum mark
Hon-zukuri, iori-mune with slight koshi-zori and chu-kissaki; forged with a running itame pattern of ji-nie mixed with masame and a suguha tempered edge with some areas of sunagashi in the top half and a ko-maru tip; tang ubu with kiri file marks and one hole; single silvered-copper habaki; in shirasaya; 69cm. long; 3cm. wide before the tempered edge; 1.5cm. wide before tip
