THE FIRST SIGNED SEIKOZAN, MEIJI PERIOD (LATE 19TH CENTURY)
Both decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt, the first with a central roundel depicting a scene with entertainers bordered by a continuous band of children at various pastimes, the exterior with various shaped panels depicting sumo wrestling, archery and manzai dancing; the second with various panels depicting the Rokkassen [Six Immortal Poets]
