ATTRIBUTED TO THE NAMIKAWA YASUYUKI STUDIO, MEIJI PERIOD (LATE 19TH CENTURY)
Worked in various thicknesses of gilt and silver wire and various coloured cloisonné enamels, goldstone and gold nuggets on mottled and black grounds with a band of lappets depicting ho-o birds, dragons and karashishi beneath a band of ho-o birds and foliage, the shoulder and cover imitating a brocade cloth, silver chrysanthemum knop finial, copper gilt mounts
15.5cm. high
