JUDAICA:- TWO CONTINENTAL METALWARE PLATTERS
20TH CENTURY, STAMPED 835 ONLY
One oval, for the Sabbath, embossed with two plaited loaves, further decorated with fruiting vines & shells, with raised Hebrew inscription, 16½ in. long (41.8 cm.); TOGETHER WITH a similar but larger circular dish, for the festival of Passover, raised Hebrew inscription to sunken centre, 18½ in. diameter (47.2 cm.).
