With chequer banding and paterae inlay, the interior with twin lidded compartments a central narrow recess, later inlay
6¼in. (16cm.) high, 9in. (22.8cm.) wide, 6in. (15.2cm.) deep
Together with a French brass and mother-of-pearl inlaid kingwood and mahogany box, mid 19th century, the rosewood interior with five divisions -- 13in. (33cm.) wide; a maple box -- 6¾in. (17cm.) wide; and a black painted cash box, with gilt-heightened name E.CAREW-SHAW -- 11in. (28cm.) wide (4)
