THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY
The hinged front opening to reveal a felt-lined fitted interior with glass bottles, scales and measures, inset with an ivory label Allen & Hanburys/LONDON
9¾in. (24.8cm.) high, 8in. (20.3cm.) wide, 6in. (15.2cm.) deep
Together with a brass-bound mahogany surgical instrument set, part, late 19th century, the lid inset with an oval plaque E.F.Longton M.D.Edin/SOUTHPORT, the interior fitted with ivory-handled instruments -- 8¾in. (22.2cm.) wide; and a steel measuring device for diameter -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) long (3)
