Volumes I & II only (of 4), 4° (250 x 195mm). Half-titles, engraved vignette on titles, illustrations by Moles after Carmaron, Montana and A. Carnicero, engraved initials (last few upper margins of vol. I lightly dust-soiled, inner gutter of A2v and A3r in the same vol. repaired, affecting 3 words on A2r but sense recoverable, occasional light spotting in both vols.). Contemporary vellum, flat spines ruled and decorated gilt in compartments, contrasting lettering-pieces (one label on vol. II torn away, rubbed, spines lightly soiled), red edges. Provenance: Jose Farrerons (stamp on both titles) -- Javier Krahe (bookplate and inscription in pen "Feliz Navidad 1987, Javier" on front blank in vol. I).

The second volume contains many documents relating to Barcelona's history. Volumes III and IV were not published until 1792, which means the work is not often found complete.
