The head and neck made separately from the hollow body, the head modelled as if the horse were neighing, with mouth open below the flared upper lip and with ears pricked, the powerful, arched neck set atop the opening in the body which stands on four knife-pared legs, covered with a dark green glaze that has degraded in areas to a silvery iridescence
