AN UNUSUAL CELADON LOTUS POD-FORM WATERDROPPER
LATE MING/EARLY QING DYNASTY
In the form of a lotus pod molded around the sides with rows of overlapping lotus petals, with a small hollow stem projecting at an angle from one side to form the spout, the top modelled with three small 'seeds' set between three small apertures representing where three 'seeds' have fallen out, covered overall with a glaze of sea-green tone that continues underneath to cover the base around four spur marks
