A FINE AND UNUSUAL PALE-BLUE-GLAZED CARVED PEAR-SHAPED VASE
18TH CENTURY
The bulbous body and waisted neck well carved in low relief with bands of highly stylized archaistic decoration, with a band of key fret below the mouth rim and a band of triangular overlapping blade tips encircling the splayed foot, covered inside and out with a glaze of pale sky-blue tone that thins on the decoration, the base glazed white
