A SMALL FINELY EMBROIDERED SILK PANEL

Very finely worked in satin stitch and tiny seed pearls with a pair of long-tailed birds alighting on and hovering above a prunus tree by which grow peony and bamboo emerging from rockwork, the satin floss threads rendered in shaded tones of red, blue, grey and cream, the pearls worked into the petals of the prunus blossoms
