Finely worked in satin stitch and muted tones of brown, green, blue, orange, peach and cream, one with a male and female mandarin duck standing by rockwork on a grassy knoll below a pair of long-tailed birds perched in a tree, the other with a variety of birds including a hawk, a pheasant and a pair of cranes, both reserved on a cream ground
