woodcut, circa 1496, a good Meder II a impression, watermark Small Flower (M. 128), trimmed 2-3 mm. into the subject at right (the borderline partly made-up in pen and ink), otherwise trimmed on the borderline, the upper right corner with skilfully repaired paper losses, another small made-up paper loss at the tip of the halberd, some very pale traces of red pigment in the figure of the rider and the horse, the gap in the rock at the lower right filled in, otherwise in good condition
